Alternative Dispute Resolution
Mandatory Information Program
Mandatory Information Programs (MIPs) are available at family court locations across Ontario. They provide information about separation/divorce and the legal process, including:
- The effects of separation and divorce on adults and children
- Alternatives to litigation
- Family law issues
- The Family Court process
- Local resources and programs for families facing separation and/or divorce
If you are interested in attending a MIP session, you can do so regardless of whether you are currently involved in a family court proceeding. For more information, visit Family Justice Services - Ministry of the Attorney General.
